Baseball Recap: Omaha Westside Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Omaha Westside's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Millard South Patriots on Thursday. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Warriors, who until this matchup were averaging 3.7 runs allowed.

This is the second loss in a row for Omaha Westside and nudges their season record down to 3-7. As for Millard South, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-1.

Coincidentally, Omaha Westside and Millard South will both be playing Lincoln East the next time they take the field. The Warriors will head out to face the Spartans at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, while the Patriots will play them later in the day, at 11:30 a.m.
