Basketball Game Preview: Horizon Hawks vs. Harmony Longhorns

Two dominant forwards in Diego Rojas and Sylus Cory are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. Having just played yesterday, the Horizon Hawks will head out on the road to face off against the Harmony Longhorns at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Horizon is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 73 points last Tuesday, they were much more limited against Winter Park on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a 54-20 loss at the hands of the Wildcats. The contest marked the Hawks' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Harmony unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They fell 50-39 to Gateway. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Longhorns came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 99th, while the Panthers are ranked 237th).

Harmony's loss dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Horizon, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-20.
