It was a good run, but Rock Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Foothills Christian Knights. The Warriors were not able to make up for their loss to the Knights from their previous meeting back in October of 2017.

Alexa Baird paced Rock Academy's offense, picking up 16 kills. Baird got some help from Daniella Lara and her 23 assists. Finally, Madi Birney kept Rock Academy's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Rock Academy's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 11-4. As for Foothills Christian, their record now sits at 11-7.

Rock Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Classical Academy on the 30th. As for Foothills Christian, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against St. Joseph Academy on the 26th.
