Volleyball Recap: St. John's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

St. John had to endure a five-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Waynesfield-Goshen Tigers on Saturday. That's more bragging rights for the Bluejays, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

St. John's walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-23, 25-13.

St. John's win bumped their record up to 4-13. As for Waynesfield-Goshen, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. St. John's will square off against Bath at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Waynesfield-Goshen, they will head out to square off against Perry at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
