Baseball Recap: Rio Grande City Comes Up Short

Rio Grande City and Ray squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Rio Grande City had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Texans by a score of 5-3. The Rattlers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Texans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Rio Grande City saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Evan Marroquin, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
