Volleyball Recap: St. James Takes a Loss

St. James was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss. They came up short against Belle, falling 3-0. St. James was not able to make up for their defeat to Belle from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-8, 25-14.

Adalee Richardson paced St. James' offense, picking up six kills. Richardson got some help from Cami Wulff and her three assists. Finally, Richardson was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

St. James' loss dropped their record down to 3-22-1. As for Belle, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8-1 record this season.

St. James didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Pacific on the 14th. As for Belle, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Calvary Lutheran on the 14th.
