Football Recap: Dobson Piles Up the Points Against Ironwood

Dobson's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They breezed past the Ironwood Eagles to the tune of 42-14. Considering the Mustangs have won four games by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Dobson didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jamarquise James and Michael Mckenzie. Another thorn in Ironwood's side was Kaimir Tyler, who picked up a sack, made ten total tackles (2.0 for loss), and defended one pass.

When it comes to explaining why Ironwood lost, don't look at Ramsey Pyne. Despite the final result, he rushed for 122 yards and one score, and also picked up 37 receiving yards.

Dobson's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Ironwood, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

As of now, neither Dobson nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
