Softball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Sky View

Sky View entered their tilt with Mountain Crest on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-0 victory over the Mustangs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-2 back in March.

The result came thanks to Avaree Haramoto's shutout, as she gave up just three hits and racked up 11 Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in 14 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Brylee Andrus was incredible, firing off two home runs while going 3-for-3.

Sky View's record now sits at 16-5. As for Mountain Crest, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-11.

Sky View didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-4 win against Deseret Peak on the 22nd. As for Mountain Crest, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Green Canyon at 3:30 p.m.
