Volleyball Recap: Conway Comes Up Short

Conway saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Porter-Gaud Cyclones. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Madeline Green paced Conway's offense, picking up six kills. Green really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with five. Olivia Drew controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Conway's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Porter-Gaud, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-12 record this season.

Conway didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Myrtle Beach on the 30th. As for Porter-Gaud, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against James Island on the 27th.
