Baseball Game Preview: Clayton Bulldogs vs. Kinta Eagles

Clayton is a perfect 5-0 against Kinta since March of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Bulldogs will face off against the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. Neither Clayton nor Kinta posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

On Thursday, Clayton came up short against Arkoma and fell 4-1. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Calvin Palmer was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played.

Meanwhile, Kinta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Pittsburg.

Clayton now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Kinta, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Clayton came out on top in a nail-biter against Kinta in their previous matchup back in March, sneaking past 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
