Volleyball Recap: Lecanto's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Lecanto had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Belleview Rattlers as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Lecanto never let Belleview on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-22, 25-14.

Devin Pulham paced Lecanto's offense, picking up 13 kills. Pulham got some help from Amelia Ebert and her 21 assists. Pulham was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

Lecanto's win bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Belleview, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-13.

Lecanto didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Vanguard on the 14th. As for Belleview, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against South Sumter on the 8th.
