Basketball Recap: High Plains Continues Home Dominance on Friday

High Plains hadn't done well against Bruning-Davenport/Shickley recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The High Plains Storm came out on top against the Bruning-Davenport/Shickley Eagles by a score of 41-32. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Storm also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

High Plains' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Peyton Hofmann, who posted ten points. Another player making a difference was Courtney Carlstrom, who earned ten points.

Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points over those games. As for Bruning-Davenport/Shickley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-13.
