Basketball Recap: Grace Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Grace Christian Academy lost against Fullington Academy back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Grace Christian Academy Cougars took a 60-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fullington Academy Trojans. The Cougars' loss continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Fullington Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rylan Sangster, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 13 boards. Sangster is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Will Sangster, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds.

Grace Christian Academy's record now sits at 3-9. As for Fullington Academy, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Grace Christian Academy Cougars challenge the Crisp Academy Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Fullington Academy, they will challenge Westwood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Fullington Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.7 points per game this season.
