Baseball Recap: Hersey Huskies vs. Saint Viator Lions
Hersey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell just short of the Saint Viator Lions by a score of 4-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Hersey of the 6-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2023.
Jeremy Allen was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits (and not a single walk).
