Softball Recap: Rangeview Takes a Loss

Rangeview's tournament run continued when they took on Fountain-Fort Carson on Saturday. The Raiders fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 8-7.

Jimena Vasquez and Diana Esquivel did some serious damage despite the final result: Vasquez went 2-for-3 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base, while Esquivel went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. Those doubles were Vasquez's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Devyn Davenport, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Rangeview's loss dropped their record down to 0-3-1. As for Fountain-Fort Carson, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Rangeview has already played their next contest, a 30-15 defeat against George Washington on the 26th. Fountain-Fort Carson has also already played their next game (against Doherty), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
