Recap: Peoria Panthers vs. Arizona College Prep Knights
The Peoria Panthers put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Arizona College Prep by a score of 36-28. Winning is a bit easier when your three-point shooting is a whole 24% better than the opposition, as Peoria's was.
Among those leading the charge was Cieraka Lynch, who scored 11 points along with 7 rebounds. Michelle Kogbara was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 9 rebounds.
Despite the defeat, Arizona College Prep had strong showings from Mikell Van Arsdale, who scored 6 points along with 10 rebounds and 5 assists, and Chloe Warren, who scored 8 points along with 5 steals. Van Arsdale hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Kiana Baniameri, who scored 3 points along with 7 rebounds.
Peoria's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Arizona College Prep, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Peoria will be staying on the road on December 4th to face off against Paradise Honors at 7:00 p.m. on December 4th. Paradise Honors is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games. As for Arizona College Prep, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Goldwater at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
