Baseball Game Preview: L'Anse Creuse North Crusaders vs. Utica Chieftains

For the second straight game, L'Anse Creuse North will face off against Utica. The Crusaders will welcome the Chieftains at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. L'Anse Creuse North will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.

L'Anse Creuse North came out on top against Utica on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run first inning. The Crusaders walked away with a 6-1 win over the Chieftains.

L'Anse Creuse North got a great performance from Jackson Choike as he struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Choike has become a key player for the Crusaders: the team is 4-2 when he allows at most one earned run, but 8-13 otherwise.
