Preview: Pleasant Ridge Rams vs. Rossville Bulldogs
Pleasant Ridge is 0-5 against Rossville since November of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Pleasant Ridge Rams will be playing at home against the Rossville Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m.
Pleasant Ridge fell victim to Silver Lake's stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They had to suffer through a rough 54-0 loss at the hands of the Eagles. Pleasant Ridge has struggled against Silver Lake recently, as their match on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Rossville got themselves on the board against Holton on Friday, but Holton never followed suit. They were the clear victor by a 21-0 margin over the Wildcats. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as Rossville just coasted through the last quarter.
Tayson Horak looked great while leading his team to the win, gaining 109 total yards and a touchdown.
Rossville's victory bumped their season record to 3-3 while Pleasant Ridge's defeat dropped theirs to 2-4.
Pleasant Ridge was taken down by Rossville 56-6 when the teams last played back in October of 2022. Thankfully for Pleasant Ridge, Braiden Hensley (who rushed for 69 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 71 receiving yards) won't be suiting up this time.
