Baseball Recap: Manzanola Takes a Loss

Manzanola was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 24th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Stratton Eagles, falling 18-3. The Bobcats were not able to make up for their loss to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Danner Carroll was cooking despite his team's loss, going 4-for-3 with two doubles and one triple. Dillon Pittmann was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one double.

Manzanola's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Stratton, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Manzanola will square off against Sierra Grande at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Stratton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Holly at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
