Austin Spears turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than three walks surrendered on Saturday. He struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits (and only one walk). He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics is 4-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 3-5 otherwise.

Spears' effort led Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics over Providence Athletic Club and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Providence Athletic Club is limping into the matchup having lost nine straight on the road dating back to last season.
