Soccer Recap: Georgetown Day Plays to a Tie

For the first time this season, Georgetown Day was forced to settle for a draw. They and the William Penn Charter Quakers finished up their match with a 1-1 draw on Friday.

Georgetown Day's goal came courtesy of Trey Tam, who's now up to two this season.

With that draw, Georgetown Day's record moves to 1-0-1. As for William Penn Charter, they moved theirs to 3-0-1.

Looking ahead, Georgetown Day will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Sidwell Friends at 4:15 p.m. William Penn Charter has already played their next contest (against Potomac School), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
