Monterey Trail won the last time they faced Sheldon and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Mustangs came out on top against the Huskies by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 19-25, 28-26, 25-19.

Dehryn Brown paced Monterey Trail's offense, picking up 20 kills. Brown got some help from Chris Huang and his 37 assists. Brown was also solid from the service line: he led the team with five aces.

Monterey Trail's win bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Sheldon, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 12-9.

Monterey Trail didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Franklin on the 10th. As for Sheldon, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Pleasant Grove on the 10th.
