North Lincoln is 8-2 against Statesville since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. Meanwhile, Statesville fell victim to East Lincoln and their airtight defense on Thursday. They came up short against the Mustangs, falling 9-0. That's two games in a row now that Statesville have lost by exactly nine goals.

North Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 5-11-2. As for Statesville, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-15.

North Lincoln took their win against Statesville when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 9-0 score. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Greyhounds have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
