Olathe won the last time they faced Nucla and things went their way on Saturday too. The Pirates had just enough and edged out the Mustangs 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pirates.

Alexandria Avila paced Olathe's offense, picking up five kills. Avila got some help from Haley Cox and her nine assists. Finally, Maryann Fassett kept Olathe's defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.

The win got Olathe back to even at 2-2. As for Nucla, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Olathe wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Sargent on the 30th. As for Nucla, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Center on the 30th.
