Softball Preview: Bellingham Blackhawks vs. Norton Lancers        
        
		
            
 Bellingham is 1-9 against Norton since May of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Monday. The Bellingham Blackhawks will head out on the road to  challenge  the Norton Lancers at 3:45  p.m. Both teams come into the  contest bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Last Monday, Bellingham sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  5-4  victory over Tri-County RVT.
 Bellingham's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Trista Corshia, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-2.  Lilly Proler was another key contributor,  going 2-for-4 with two  RBI.
 Meanwhile, Norton put another one in the bag  on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let Attleboro onto the board and left with  a   12-0  victory. Norton's hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
 Bellingham's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Norton, their victory was  their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 5-0.
 Bellingham might still be hurting after the  26-3 defeat they got from Norton  when the teams last played  back in May of 2022. Can Bellingham avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
