With a playoff win on the line, Longwood rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They managed a 40-35 win over the Collins Warriors. The victory was just business as usual for the Panthers, who after 13 games remain undefeated this season.

Longwood's win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-0. The wins didn't necessarily come from the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 25.5 points per game. As for Collins, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-4.

Longwood will square off against Goode STEM Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Goode STEM Academy will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something Longwood surely won't give up without a fight. Collins does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
