Basketball Recap: Triangle Lake Comes Up Short

Triangle Lake lost against Mapleton back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Triangle Lake Lakers took a hard 57-41 fall against the Mapleton Sailors.

Triangle Lake has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.6 points over those games. As for Mapleton, their win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-7.

Coming up, Triangle Lake will take on McKenzie at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mapleton, they will square off against Powers at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
