Walhalla had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Wednesday. They walked away with an 8-5 victory over the West-Oak Warriors. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 4-2 last Tuesday.

Walhalla's win was truly a team effort as eight different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Carson Bibb, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Walhalla's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-4. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for West-Oak, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

Walhalla will have a chance to go back-to-back against West-Oak: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
