Recap: Hoehne Farmers vs. Heritage Christian Eagles
On Saturday, Hoehne was the victim of a rough 54-28 loss at the hands of Heritage Christian. Hoehne has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Several Farmers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Nathan Zamora, who scored 9 points along with 5 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Diego Lujan, who scored 6 points.
Hoehne now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Heritage Christian, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Hoehne will look to defend their home court on Thursday against La Veta at 4:30 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Colorado (La Veta is ranked 215th, while Hoehne is ranked 201st). As for Heritage Christian, they will take on Prospect Ridge Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
