Union Academy won the last time they faced Albemarle and things went their way on Friday too. The Union Academy Cardinals blew past the Albemarle Bulldogs, posting a 78-51 win. The Cardinals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Everett Wease went supernova for Union Academy, going 7 for 13 on his way to 19 points and three steals. Wease is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last six games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Parker Frashier, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.

The victory made it two in a row for Union Academy and bumps their season record up to 11-6. As for Albemarle, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-17.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Union Academy will square off against Gray Stone Day at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Albemarle, they will challenge Mount Pleasant at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mount Pleasant knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 games -- so hopefully Albemarle likes a good challenge.
