Football Recap: GMG Takes a Loss + How To Watch

GMG was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 60-58 heartbreaker at the hands of the Central City Wildcats. Even if the Wolverines couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their offense, which had struggled int the games prior.

GMG's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Central City, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, GMG will square off against Gladbrook-Reinbeck at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Central City, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Easton Valley at 7:00 p.m. Central City will need to watch out since Easton Valley has now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
