Gideon had won 14 straight games and Jalynn Ford did her part to make it 15 on Thursday. The Bulldogs blew past the Malden Green Wave 3-0 with plenty of help from Ford, who had 15 digs and three assists. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 10.2 digs per game.

While Gideon won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-10, 25-21.

Gideon's victory bumped their record up to 24-1. As for Malden, their loss dropped their record down to 12-6-3.

Coming up, Gideon will challenge Bernie at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Malden, they will face off against Campbell at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
