Basketball Recap: Sutherlin Takes a Loss

Sutherlin suffered their biggest defeat since December 9, 2025 on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a 51-23 loss at the hands of the Philomath Warriors. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost three in a row.

Sutherlin's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Philomath, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-5.

Sutherlin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 55-24 win against Siuslaw on the 15th. Philomath has also already played their next matchup (against Silverton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
