The Timberlake Christian Tornadoes's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 56-27 defeat at the hands of Regents. Timberlake Christian lost against Regents in their previous head to head back in December of 2021, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 59-44 score last time.

Leading Regents to victory were Josh Morales and Tucker Jamison. Morales scored 13 points along with 4 steals, while Jamison scored 13 points along with 3 steals. Another player making a difference was David Keppel, who scored 6 points.

Timberlake Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Regents, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Timberlake Christian will challenge Faith Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Faith Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight on Tuesday. As for Regents, they will head out on the road to face off against Grace Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
