Cedar Falls beats Kennedy for their fourth straight win

The Cedar Falls Tigers had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They managed a 30-26 win over Kennedy. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Cedar Falls also won the last time the pair played two weeks ago.
Drake Gelhaus was the offensive standout of the game as he rushed for 94 yards and a touchdown.
Cedar Falls' win was their tenth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 8-3. As for Kennedy, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.
Cedar Falls will take on Southeast Polk at TBD on Friday. Southeast Polk knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matches -- so hopefully Cedar Falls likes a good challenge. Kennedy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
