Trivium Prep can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Prescott Badgers 2-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in August.

Grace Layton paced Trivium Prep's offense, picking up ten kills. Layton got some help from Aleena Torres and her 19 assists.

Trivium Prep's victory bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Prescott, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Looking ahead, Trivium Prep will challenge St. John Paul II Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Crimson Knights are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Prescott, they will take on Coconino at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
