After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Peniel Baptist Academy, St. John Lutheran was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against the Ocala Christian Crusaders as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Saints in their matchups with the Crusaders: they've now won four in a row.

St. John Lutheran never let Ocala Christian on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-16, 25-22.

Alexis Stuart paced St. John Lutheran's offense, picking up ten kills. Stuart got some help from Ellie Walker and her 23 assists. Stuart was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

St. John Lutheran's record is now 2-4. As for Ocala Christian, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Coming up, St. John Lutheran will face off against Oak Hall at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ocala Christian, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Redeemer Christian at 6:30 p.m. on the 23rd.
