Softball Recap: Golden Gate Comes Up Short

Golden Gate and Palmetto Ridge squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Golden Gate had to settle for second. They came up short against the Bears, falling 19-0. The Titans' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Golden Gate's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Palmetto Ridge, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-11.

Golden Gate does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Palmetto Ridge, they will face off against Gulf Coast at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bears' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Sharks have averaged an impressive 10 runs per game this season.
