Basketball Recap: Powell County Takes a Loss

Powell County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 57-46 to the Estill County Engineers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Engineers this season, with their most recent loss being a 57-46 defeat back in January.

Powell County's loss dropped their record down to 3-23. As for Estill County, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-15 record this season.

Powell County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Estill County, they will take on Lee County at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
