Volleyball Recap: Spring Comes Up Short

Spring was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 20th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Spring Woods Tigers. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2017.

Spring's defeat dropped their record down to 0-19. As for Spring Woods, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Spring will venture away from home to square off against Splendora at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Spring Woods, they will head out to challenge Sharpstown at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
