Soccer Game Preview: Mascoma vs. Trinity

The Mascoma Royals will head out to take on the Trinity Pioneers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mascoma's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Mascoma fell victim to Bishop Brady and their airtight defense on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Giants.

Meanwhile, Trinity had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.3 goals) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They never let the Bears get on the board and left with a 9-0 win. Trinity might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by three goals or more this season.

Mascoma's loss dropped their record down to 3-5-2. As for Trinity, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2-2.
