Baseball Recap: San Marcos Takes a Loss

San Marcos was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Jesuit Crusaders, falling 6-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Royals were not able to get on the board.

San Marcos got a good showing from Ethan Frost-Stokhaug, who tossed three innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off three hits. The dominant performance also gave Frost-Stokhaug a new career-high in strikeouts (three).

San Marcos' defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Jesuit, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

San Marcos has already played their next matchup, a 10-4 loss against Sprague on the 26th. As for Jesuit, they are taking a road trip to challenge Lake Oswego at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
