Softball Recap: Calhoun County Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three contests, Calhoun County finally came back down to earth on Wednesday. They came up short against the Whitmire Wolverines, falling 16-1.

Calhoun County has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Whitmire, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 18-6.

As of now, neither Calhoun County nor the Wolverines have any future games scheduled.
