Baseball Recap: Premont Comes Up Short

Premont lost to Raymondville back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cowboys came up short against the Bearkats, falling 10-4. The Cowboys have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Premont now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Raymondville, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Premont will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Ingleside at 7:00 p.m. As for Raymondville, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 12-2 loss against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North on the 14th.
