Baseball Game Preview: Dymally Challengers vs. Crenshaw Cougars

Alejandro Rodriguez was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Rodriguez was also stellar in the batter's box, going 4-for-5 with five stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. Those five stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Bryan Baires was a standout: he went 2-for-5 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Daniel Mendoza was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-4.

Meanwhile, Crenshaw unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against Jordan on Wednesday, falling 19-12.
