Softball Preview: Redlands Terriers vs. Palm Desert Aztecs

The Redlands Terriers will square off against the Palm Desert Aztecs at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Redlands will be strutting in after a victory while Palm Desert will be coming in after a loss.

Redlands took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They skirted past Arrowhead Christian 9-8. The Terriers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Shay Figueroa was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Those runs were her first of the season. Sophia Akimoto was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.
