Volleyball Recap: Thomas Jefferson Triumphs

Thomas Jefferson lost to Vista PEAK Prep back in March of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Spartans walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Bison. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Spartans.

Thomas Jefferson had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-23, 25-20, 25-21.

Benjamin Finke paced Thomas Jefferson's offense, picking up 13 kills. Finke got some help from Zane Bath and his 27 assists. Finke was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

Thomas Jefferson now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Vista PEAK Prep, they moved to 8-5 with that loss, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.
