With a playoff win on the line, Tri-County rose to the challenge on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 53-27 margin over the Pioneer Panthers. The Cavaliers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 17 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

The win was the fifth in a row for Tri-County, bringing their record for this year to 22-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.4 points over those games. As for Pioneer, they now have a losing record at 12-13.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Tri-County beat Pioneer by a score of 53-27 on Monday.
