Kennedy hasn't had much luck against Moreau Catholic recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Titans are taking a road trip to challenge the Mariners at 4:00 p.m. Kennedy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.
Tuesday just wasn't the day for Kennedy's offense. They came up short against Newark Memorial on Tuesday, falling 6-0.

Marilyn Rivas spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered six earned runs on ten hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Kennedy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nataile Servanda, who went 1-for-2 with one double.
Meanwhile, Moreau Catholic entered their tilt with American on Tuesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They were the clear victors by a 17-6 margin over the Eagles. The result was nothing new for the Mariners, who have now won eight matches by six runs or more so far this season.
Lexi Mejia was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Mejia was also big at the plate, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs and one RBI.
In other batting news, Moreau Catholic got a massive performance out of Alyvia Sifuentes-Parker, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI and two runs. Naomi Chen was another key player, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Moreau Catholic was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .516. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .323 or higher in five consecutive games.
Moreau Catholic's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-5. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for Kennedy, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-7.
Moreau Catholic's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Thursday. Kennedy has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.1 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Moreau Catholic, though, as they've been averaging only 4 strikeouts. Will Kennedy keep running through batters, or will the Mariners buck the trend?
Kennedy came up short against Moreau Catholic in their previous meeting back in April, falling 10-7. Can the Titans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
