Basketball Recap: Broadmoor Takes a Loss

Broadmoor and Albany squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Broadmoor had to settle for second. They came up short against the Albany Hornets, falling 80-56. The Buccaneers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2021.

Broadmoor's loss dropped their record down to 20-12. As for Albany, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 35-11 record this season.

Broadmoor does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Albany, they will square off against Franklin Parish on Tuesday. Albany knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Franklin Parish likes a good challenge.
